ABOUT LI LAO SHI

I was born in Berkeley, California, then moved to Taipei, Taiwan when I was two and then moved back to California seven years later in 1989, the last time the Dodgers won the World Series.  I went to UCSD, CSUF, and USC for my studies and eventually I became a Mandarin teacher.

I like to exercise, sometimes I go to the movies and I like detective books/films.

As a teacher I like my students to be successful.  My philosophy is that all class goals should be clearly defined and that my students know exactly what I expect, both in academics and in citizenship.

I started a website during my first teaching assignment.  It ended up serving as a model for this site, click here to see my original site.
